We’re starting this year off with some dazzling neutrals (haha). In theory, camel and white and grey should suck the youth out of any look, but even the most sophisticated color palettes can be neutralized with ordinary sneakers, the more ordinary the better. So say “Hay” to the norm-corest of them all, replacement to my Reebok classics, the orthotic-friendly Etonic brand walking shoe, in oh-so-subtle slightly minted white.

autumn dressing

The challenge opportunity with designing just one collection a year, is that it can take some creativity to incorporate your favorite pieces year round. See how our pyramid dress becomes autumn appropriate with just a few extra layers. There are many decisions in my life, so lately I’ve been defaulting to black on black outfits. With black, it’s simple to coordinate my armor each day, so I can stride out into the world confidently. Stay warm and cool out there kitties!

no fun

It’s funny how a serious wool coat and intimidating black leather pants can be compromised by a simple slogan tee. Like a window into the wearer’s psyche, when large sunglasses and pointed boots say, “back off”. Bought on a whim, maybe my subconscious is trying to tell me something?

fresh crop

I have a feeling this was the last day of the year that crop tops could be attempted, even half modest ones, under a big coat. We’re delicately balanced within the 5 seconds of fall we’re blessed with before a “tyrannosaurus winter” hits Toronto (whatever that means). If anyone has any winter coat suggestions similar to this, I’m finally admitting defeat over the elements, I’m as ready as I’ll ever be for a puffer jacket.

NOW the real news, the SS15 shop is finally up! For those patient and wonderful enough to pre-order you’ll be the first ever to get your order the second it comes back from production at the end of February 2015. Guarantee your favourites early, and be sure to sign up for the mailing list for an exclusive discount code to be sent later this week.
