Once in a while I’ll see something that makes me want to give up all hope of ever becoming a designer. Phillip Lim has put me in my place and someday I hope that place is working for him. It’s no secret, I’ve been hopelessly in love with his deliciously sweet
sherbet SS2012 collection. Not only does he have access to the most perfect shades of wool and silk, I’m dying over the fact it has DETACHABLE SLEEVES! I had the same idea for my FW2012 collection with the option of interchangeable sleeves… but now I feel silly and inadequate since he did his with impeccably invisible zippers. Anyways, rats off to this jacket! Here’s a virtual outfit I’ve prepared for the woman of unlimited means and excessive class.
