If I repeat myself that’s good news for me because that means you follow my facebook and/or twitter. This is my latest photo shoot collab with photographer Heather Manning who you may remember from my S.S2012 collections. She is on a photoshoot bender lately and came up with this one all on her own. We headed over to our local arboretum and had a full day of vandalizing trees, climbing trees, and also some looking at trees. We shot a light and dark look but this time darkness prevailed.

I bought these pants while in Madrid, they are definite “man repellers” so I don’t break them out too often. The first time I wore them out I was arguing with David about how amazing they are and I get interrupted for a photo for an international street style blog. STREET JUSTICE!

a rare occassion for pink lips!

Roll back your clocks to the era of black and white! Well, not quite, my blazer is navy and my spirit is blue lately. That isn’t to say that great things aren’t happening, quite the contrary! I just can’t tell you about them yet.. Anyways, here is my version of appropriate office attire.

The disco blazer screams professionalism but the miniskirt keeps it real, while the cloth necklace bunched up to look like a tie says, “I don’t know what I’m doing but I look like I’m wearing a tie.”

In other news, Starbucks red cups are here! That means it’s almost time to fly home to celebrate my saviour’s (Santa’s) birthday. The time before I indulge in hedonistic relaxation is when I feel the most motivated, crazy, and sleep deprived. Expect wonderful things to come these upcoming weeks, we’ve got some F as in Fresh ideas cooking on the CYEOMS hotplate.
Hello there, are you surprised to see me? My posts for the next few weeks are set on a time release like sweet, sweet medicine so that you don’t have to WILL NOT live without me!
Breaking shoe news: when I went to Value Village, I foolishly didn’t know the best shoe ever, existed because I thought my capacity for shoe joy was at maximum (see stylenanda post). I realize now my life was total garbage before I hungrily consumed these into my collection today. Comfortable as silver pillows, they complement my entire wardrobe and are 20x more obnoxious/glamourous than any shoe I’ve ever owned.
