LA LA LAND

After Coachella we rented a few cars and spent some time in Marina Del Ray, which is technically not Los Angeles, but pretty much is. A city teeming with beautiful people, whose skin glows with health and possibly happiness. I limped around our immediate area into some unexpected boutique shopping, fresh juice bars, and excessively pretentious coffee. We left without as many tacos under my belt as I was hoping for, but we’ll try again soon LA. x

COACHELLA STREET STYLE

A year of planning, day dreaming, and stressing over the elusive weekend 1 tickets.. has come and gone. I remember skipping through the field at night with my best friends, running to see Phoenix and thinking I’ve never felt so free. You probably know all about Coachella, but I wasn’t prepared for the scale of everything. Walking one end of the field to the other would take you about 45 mins (depending on traffic). With 6 stages there was bound to be some band overlap but I never felt sadness at missing anything. Discovering new music and being surprised was the best. For example, all those who doubt the power of the Moby DJ set, I give you the gospel here.

Thanks to Phoebe Redlin photography we have some style shots of DAY 2.

h o l i d a z e

How was everyone’s winter solstice? Mine was a relaxing blur… Sans proper internet, I reverted back to childhood mode: watching movies, staying up late, and eating candy until my mouth hurt. Here, have a festive spoonful of my holiday sampler, I insist.

lac du jour

It’s the lake of the day. Mmm.. that sounds good. I’ll have that.

I exchanged this sweater for a larger size or maybe I shrunk? Either way it’s much cozier now, and it tells me how great it would be during summer bonfires on the beach. Then for some reason I thought water-sensitive suede wedges would complete this lake outfit. Thank you Particle Observer for preserving the memory of this very “bon jour” on your fabulous camera.
