I feel like a teenager lately, lost somewhere in the 3 zone transfer of Vancouver. I’m starting to appreciate the nineties, can you believe it’s already been twenty years? This outfit is inspired by my embarrassing obsession with tumblr, I may be too old but maybe I’ll never grow up.

Thanks again Particle Observer for capturing these beauts.

Oh my god. I have been stalking your blog for like 30 minutes now, and I cannot understand how you are so cool. I know I keep saying it, but you are literally perfect.

Your style is AMAZING. like in this post, how you take the sexy see through shirt and pair it with athletic shorts! Like, REAL athletic shorts, not designer weird knock-of-but-the-real-thing-but-not athletic shorts.

That takes some serious fashion know-how to pull off, and you do it amazingly.

If you see this, will you tell me what kind of camera you shoot w/ ? And how you get the amazing lighting in your pics? Do you have a lighting studio inside? And when your’e outside how to you capture the greatest moments!?

    Just stop being so perfect.

haha you always have the sweetest things to say. yea i like to think i play outfit jazz, especially with so many different elements, i look back and think maybe this one had TOO much you know?
this one is shot by particle observer, all his are clearly marked and he usually shoots me with a 50mm lens and i just discovered in order to get those dreamy amazing blurred out shots for outdoors you need to get a neutral density filter (which he has) which goes on top of your lens and lowers the aperture even though it’s super bright. i think he’s using a 1/16th stop but i’d have to double check. the rest are shot by my boyfriend and he usually uses a 20mm or 35mm without an ND filter so you can see there’s a bit of a difference in blurry vs clear foreground.
we dont have a lighting studio inside, david just shoots with a flash directly on me, terry richardson style. ;)
thanks for asking! i always believe in the freedom of information so i’m glad i could share!

Thank you SO much for this!! I didn’t know about that neutral density filter tip – so I may have to check that out. Your blog is amazing and is inspiring me to try out new photographic techniques. Fashion can really be more than just clothes – it’s the whole photographic package – and dang, you’ve got it.
