le fou sur la plage | CRYSTAL EYES

Today let’s go to the beach, I’ve planned an aspirational outfit for us. It’s inspired by one of my favorite movies the 1965 classic, Pierrot Le Fou by Jean-Luc Godard. A French film about an impulsive couple that runs away from their lives to end up by the edge of the sea. I chose the charming Marianne Renoir (Anna Karina) as my muse.

Alexander Wang black wedge sandals.
Paul Smith leather handbag.

If you haven’t seen it, I highly recommend. The style is very unpredictable, interesting, and holds its own even 50 years later.
Also, Jean Paul Belmondo is so French it hurts.

Feels kind of weird to have godard go from 3 in one movie to none in this one.
